PROFAB ACCESS LTD INTRODUCE ANTI-BACTERIAL POWDER COATING OPTION FOR METAL ACCESS PANELS

Control of unhealthy bacteria in healthcare, food hygiene and domestic environments is becoming of increasing concern, and is increasingly an issue when specifying new buildings.

All of Profab’s range of metal access panels are now available with an option of Interpon AB* powder coat finish. Interpon anti-bacterial powder coat paint has been developed for use in healthcare and hygiene environments and works through the controlled release of active silver ions. In laboratory tests Interpon coating is effective against 99.98% of bacteria tested (JIS Z2801:2000) and can provide effective support to existing cleaning regimes in the fight against bacterial contamination.

Among the Profab products available in the AB powder coat is the Profab 9000 series Clean Room Panel – specifically designed for use in clean room and laboratory environments. This performance panel is available in either beaded or picture frame with push catches or a security lock in a wide range of sizes from 200mm x 200mm up to 600mm x 1200mm in single door type, and a range of larger sizes in double and multi door types.
