INTRODUCTION
The Profab 3000 series 'Loft Hatch' is designed to provide access between into 50mm wide timber truss/ joisted plaster/plasterboard ceilings, where access to the loft space is required.
DESCRIPTION
COMPOSITION & MANUFACTURE
The metal frame holds a flush metal door through adjustable hinges to one side. The door is held closed with either concealed push catches (PC) or a security key lock (SL). The door opens down towards the user and is removable during installation or if damage occurs. Panels with simulated dry wall beaded frames (BF) are jointed/skim-plastered and then decorated on site to match the colour/texture of the adjacent finish. Picture frame (PF) panels are finished semi-gloss white so require no finishing after installation. A 2mm gap is maintained between the door and frame through the adjustable hinges.
